State awards and medals awarded to Prof. Dr. Eldar Hasanov:

  • • Member of the Royal Academy of Serbia.

  • • State awards of Azerbaijan ("medal for courage”, “medal for services to law and public order”, “Azerbaijani flag order”).

  • • Romania (“Order of the Grand Cross of Merit”).

  • • Serbia (“Serbian flag of the II degree”).

Projects

The following projects have been implemented with the initiative and support of Prof. Dr. Eldar Hasanov during his diplomatic activities:


  • • On October 11, 2006, the opening ceremony of the monument to the great Romanian musician George Enesco took place in one of the central parks of Baku. The event was attended by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Romanian President Traian Basescu.

  • • On September 24, 2007, a park named after ex-president of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev was opened in the center of Bucharest. The opening ceremony was attended by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Romanian President Traian Basescu and their spouses.

  • • On June 8, 2011, a monument to ex-President of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev was unveiled in Belgrade's Tashmaidan Park. In the presence of Serbian President Boris Tadic, the opening of the monument was made by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

  • • On June 9, 2011, the memory of the outstanding Azerbaijani composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli was immortalized in the city of Novi Sad.

  • • On June 11, 2011, with the support and organization of the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro, the mayor's office of Bar and the embassy of our country in Romania, a personal exhibition of the outstanding artist, People's Artist of Azerbaijan Hussein Aliyev was opened in the Royal Palace of Nikola in Bar on the occasion of the 100th anniversary.

  • • In 2011-2012, the Bayrakli Mosque in Belgrade was repaired and restored, St. Petka Church in Novi Sad was built and renovated, and the Cultural Center in Novi Pazar was renovated.

  • • On February 24, 2012, a monument to the victims of the Khojaly genocide was unveiled in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina). Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, initiator of the "Justice for Khojaly" campaign, took part in the opening ceremony of the monument.

  • • October 5, 2012 - Montenegrin Prime Minister, Mayor and representative of Azerbaijan Seyran Mirza-zade laid the first stone for the construction of a central kindergarten in Bijelo Polje.

  • • On February 8, 2013, a monument to the outstanding Serbian scientist Nikola Tesla was unveiled in the center of Baku.

  • • On September 11, 2013, the grand opening of the Royal Park took place in Podgorica. The opening of the park was attended by Mayor of Podgorica Miomir Mugosha, Prime Minister of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic and Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Elchin Efendiev. In the park there is a monument to Bozidar Vukovich, the first Serbian book printer and publisher. Nearby is a bust of the Azerbaijani poet and playwright Hussein Javid.

  • • On November 5, 2013 in Banja Luka, President of the Republic of Serbian Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik, Prime Minister Zelka Cvijanovic and Azerbaijani Ambassador Eldar Hasanov opened a newly built social and geriatric center.

  • • On October 1, 2014, a library was opened at the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Belgrade. The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elchin Efendiyev, members of the friendship group for cooperation with Azerbaijan in the Serbian Parliament.

  • • On August 16, 2015, one of the streets of Belgrade was named after the people's poet of Azerbaijan Bakhtiyar Vahabzade. Azerbaijani Ambassador to Serbia Eldar Hasanov noted that the appearance of Bakhtiyar Vahabzade Street in Belgrade is not just an important event, but also another important step in bringing the two peoples with a huge cultural heritage closer together.

  • • On April 26, 2018, on the direct initiative of the rector of the Azerbaijan University of Languages, Academician Kamal Abdullah, the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Serbia and the Azerbaijan Cultural Center in Belgrade held the official opening ceremony of the Center for the Azerbaijani Language and Culture at the University of Belgrade.
